The libraries of the United States are integral and valued parts of the communities and institutions they serve. There are a number of kinds of libraries commonplace in the United States, including public, school, college and university, legal, and research libraries, each of which has a constituency they serve. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the benefits of digital video to communicate and preserve scholarly work. This study asks the question: How can digital video benefit communication and scholarly work? Combining both visuals and audio, digital video has become a unique educational tool between scholars and students alike to communicate, teach, and learn.
