This study aims to examine the determinants of academic law library use, collection, and services among the law faculty members in Pakistan. A survey was designed and data was collected through a structured questionnaire from the target population in order to achieve objectives of the study. The findings reveal that the majority of faculty members used circulation service in their respective institutional libraries and most of them consulted textbooks, general books and reference collection in their various academic and research related activities. This study has investigated the status of hardware, software, networking and IT support available in university libraries of Pakistan. Survey method of research was employed to collect the data through a questionnaire survey. Fifty two out of 82 chief librarians/head librarians of central libraries of the public and private universities responded. Purpose – The objective of this study is to gauge the level of information literacy skills of faculty members of the University of Lahore.

Design/methodology/approach – To collect required data from population, survey method was used. This study reports the results of a survey of 40 paediatricians working in teaching hospitals in Southern Punjab. The survey was undertaken to ascertain how paediatricians keep abreast with current development in their field; their purpose for using internet- based resources, databases and search engines being used more frequently and difficulties being faced.
