This study was conducted with the purpose of better understanding what makes a good leader in the world of college athletics. Understanding the traits, characteristics, decision-making process, and sports involvement of leadership helps to provide scholars with the opportunity to gain a better insight into the minds of leaders. This study was conducted through a qualitative research method. The questionnaire was sent out to a small pool of student-athletes, coaches, and administration in the athletic department.
