DePaul communications student Baylee Ritter has been a champion of environmental preservation, particularly as it relates to the world's oceans. An activist throughout her young life, she developed programs to dispose of medications in a way that would not contaminate the environment, served on the Sea World and Busch Gardens Youth Advisory Council and spoke before the U.N. General Assembly about ocean pollution.
