During November of 1977, five days of archaeological testing were carried out by personnel from the Center for Archaeological Research, The University of Texas at San Antonio, directly south of Olmos Dam, San Antonio, Texas (see Fig. 1). The testing was done under the supervision of Dr. Thomas R. Hester, Director, and Jack D. Eaton, Assistant Director, and was performed under the terms of a contract between CAR and the San Antonio River Authority. The project conforms to the provisions outlined in the E.D.A.
