In March 2020, an intensive cultural resources survey of the proposed Moore Park athletic complex in Plano, Collin County, Texas was completed in order to inventory all cultural resources. The project parcel currently lies within an open field at the southwest corner of the intersection of Chaparral Road and Cottonwood Creek. It is bounded by Chaparral Road on the north, Cottonwood Creek to the east, Bright Star Way on the south, and Cloverhaven Way on the west in a densely residential developed area. The City of McKinney (City) is proposing to construct and maintain 2.2 kilometers (km; 1.4 miles [mi]) of 42- inch (in) water transmission line for the Redbud Pump Station Transmission Water Line Project (Project) located within the City of McKinney, in west-central Collin County, Texas (Appendix A, Figure 1). The North Texas Municipal Water District is planning to build the Sister Grove Regional Water Resource Recovery Facility on a 932-acre property in New Hope, Collin County, Texas. In total, 372 acres of this property will be impacted. In a cultural resource evaluation dated September 5, 2019, AR Consultants, Inc. recommended the survey of four areas with high potential for encountering prehistoric and historic archaeology, totaling 105 acres. Richardson Parks & Recreation Department is planning new trails and park features for the additional acreage the city recently acquired around the Spring Creek Nature Area in Richardson, Texas. The city acquired an additional 50 acres in the southwestern portion of Collin County. The parks department has plans to construct new trails and park facilities on the properties to connect to existing facilities. North Texas Municipal Water District is planning the Plano Eastside Pipeline Replacement project in Collin County, Texas. The proposed project consists of replacing approximately 8,000 linear feet (2,438 meters) of waterline along the west side of Shiloh Road. Much of the line will be replaced within existing easements and in parking lots and entrances associated with commercial developments between Renner Road and 14th Street, and along Del Sol Drive. However, a few segments will require new easements. These segments total approximately 570 meters and are the only sections in need of an intensive pedestrian survey, although they parallel existing utilities. …

Collin College retained Terracon Consultants, Inc. to conduct a systematic, intensive pedestrian survey of the approximately 32-acre project area. The City of Plano is proposing to convert the Los Rios Golf Course and Country Club into a city park. For the first phase of the project, the city may choose to remove the clubhouse and associated physical facilities. The City of Plano contracted with AR Consultants, Inc. to conduct an archaeological survey of the 8.3-acre area surrounding the clubhouse and an architectural evaluation of the clubhouse. In August 2017, Deep East Texas Archaeological Consultants (DETAC) conducted a cultural resource management survey of the proposed Farmersville sewer system improvements in Collin County, Texas (TWDB/THC #201700814) under Texas Antiquities Permit #7990. Proposed improvements include 12.3 km (7.6 mi) along seven pipelines along with modifications to three lift stations and the construction of four lift stations. Total project area was 7.7 hectares (19.1 acres). Shovel testing and visual examination did not find any evidence of cultural resources; no artifacts were collected. The North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) contracted HDR Engineering, Inc. (HDR) to conduct an intensive archaeological survey prior to the installation of the proposed North McKinney Pipeline in McKinney, Collin County, Texas. The pipeline will consist of 23,918 linear feet (ft) of pipeline, with a diameter measuring between 72 inches (in) and 84 in, along an approximately 4.53-mile (mi) long easement corridor. Of this total, approximately 3.28 mi have been previously surveyed by Geo-Marine, Inc. in 2009 (Tiné 2009). Plans are in place for development of an approximately 29.52-acre tract of land in northwestern McKinney, Collin County, Texas. The tract is located southwest of the US 380/Lake Forest Drive intersection, and sits on the northern extent of the Wilson Creek floodplain and the adjacent upland. An intermittent stream flows through the site, and contains Waters of the U.S., which fall under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This report presents the results of an archeological reconnaissance survey for the proposed expansion and realignment of Farm-to-Market road (FM) 2478 (North Custer Road) in northwestern Collin County, Texas (CSJ 2351-01-017). The project involves the expansion of approximately 2.45 miles of FM 2478 from a two-lane undivided roadway to a six-lane divided roadway, the reconstruction of the existing bridge structures that span Wilson Creek and Rutherford Branch, and the realignment of approximately 0.54 mile of roadway from Rhea Mills Circle to FM 1461.
