This Capstone Project addresses the use of multicultural representation in children’s literature, with particular relevance to educational resources and curriculum. The implementation of multicultural education would inherently represent larger numbers of underrepresented communities and individuals, which would then be included in the classroom. This Capstone looks to understand the potential impact of thorough implementation of multicultural education and inclusive, representative literature for youth.
