An Evaluation Of Economic Factors In Cochiti Pueblo Culture Change, Charles H. Lange
Anthropology ETDs
The fact that constant and continual changes occur in the culture of any society, regardless of time and space considerations, has long been recognized as a fundamental truth by anthropologists. Accepting this dynamic character of culture, the anthropologist asks precisely what has occurred that has caused the culture of any particular society to be as it is at the moment, or as it was found at any specific time in the past. Having learned the cultural situation at a given time and having determined the sequence of events culminating in this situation, the anthropologist has further interests. Why did these …

Some German Interpretations Of Neolithic Origins During The Period Of Nazi Influence, Eugene Thomas Frosio
Some German Interpretations Of Neolithic Origins During The Period Of Nazi Influence, Eugene Thomas Frosio
Anthropology ETDs
My intention in this study is to break down the Neolithic Period into component parts, and state what the various German authorities propose in the case of each. Not only the works appearing during the prescribed decade will be consulted, but also those of the pre-1933 years. In each case these opinions compared to those of standard British and American and, at times, Scandinavian authorities. Deviations between these need not necessarily indicate that a falsification has taken place. Nevertheless, a unanimity of agreement in part of perhaps four different countries other than Germany would perhaps be important sign of it. …
