On behalf of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), SWCA Environmental Consultants (SWCA) conducted an intensive archeological survey on April 16–17, 2018, of a potential bridge replacement consisting of approximately 2.4 acres of existing right-of-way (ROW) along Farm-to-Market (FM) Road 1511 in Leon County, Texas. Because the project will receive funding from the Federal Highways Administration, it qualifies as an undertaking as defined in Title 36 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 800.16(y) and, therefore, the work was conducted in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (54 U.S. Code 306108). 41HR751 is located in southeastern Harris County, at the confluence of Greens Bayou and an unnamed tributary, both of which are part of the larger Buffalo Bayou/San Jacinto drainage system. 41HR751 was identified during a cultural resource survey of a 65-acre tract of land north of Interstate 10 that was undertaken for the Maxey Road Venture as mandated under United States Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District, Permit Application 18735(02). IP Aragorn LLC plans to develop a solar farm on a 1,765-acre tract on University Lands (UL) in Culberson County, Texas. In March and April 2018, Turpin and Sons Inc. (TAS) assessed the potential for significant cultural resources under the authority of Texas Antiquities Permit 8374 issued to UL, Aragorn and TAS with Jeff Turpin acting as Principal Investigator. The project area is a barren extent of interfluvial gypsum plain between the Rustler Hills on the east and the Delaware Mountains on the west. In April 2018, an intensive cultural resources survey of the proposed William Ward Road in Springtown, Parker County, Texas was completed in order to inventory all cultural resources prior to construction of the new road. The project corridor is entirely located from the intersection of Knob Road and Summerfield Court at the north end continuing south/southeast approximately 0.66 miles (1.06 kilometers) to Walnut Creek Drive. It is bordered to the north by residential development, to the south by Walnut Creek, with pastureland, hayfields, and oilfields in between. The proposed project consists of the construction of a new pipeline and outfall structure within a 2,190-foot-long, 60-foot-wide corridor (approximately 3 acres in total), with potential depth of impact from 5 to 17 feet below surface.

Parker County proposes to build the eastern segment of a loop north of the City of Weatherford, in Parker County, Texas). This portion of the loop, designated East Loop, is approximately 6.65 miles long. It begins at the intersection of the eastern terminus of the Ric Williamson Memorial Highway (or West Loop) at State Highway 51 north of the city. The proposed route continues eastward for approximately 4 miles, crosses Farm-to-Market 730 before turning south for approximately 2 miles, crosses US Highway 180 at Center Point Road, and follows Center Point Road to terminate at Interstate Highway 20.

The Trinity River Authority has proposed the construction of approximately 1.2 miles of 48-inch sewer line along Red Oak Creek in Ellis County, Texas. The proposed interceptor would extend from just east of Farm-to-Market Road 342/South Central Boulevard to the Red Oak Creek Regional Water System Plant in Red Oak, and would be constructed within a 100-foot-wide combined temporary and permanent easement. The entire line is proposed for open trenching, except at Shawnee Road near the north end of the project, where the pipeline will be bored. This report documents the results of an intensive archaeological survey (TAC Permit 6604) for the 160 foot high self supporting Hollywood Park Telecommunications Tower (Project), in Bexar County, Texas. On March 15, 2018, TxDOT conducted an intensive archeological survey for the proposed to FM 186 roadway improvement project. The project consists of a minor road widening This proposed project would widen FM 186 from two 12-ft. wide travel lanes with 2-ft. wide shoulders to two 12-ft. wide travel lanes with 4-ft. wide shoulders for approximately 8.8 miles along FM 186 from Castellaw Road to the FM 186 terminus in Dimmit County, Texas. Between April 3 and 4, 2018, Blanton & Associates, Inc. (B&A), on behalf of KMF Water LLC, at the request of Kimmeridge Energy, conducted an archeological survey within a portion of an Antiquities Conservation Grant Easement (ACGE) located within the Nicolls Tract in service of the Kimmeridge Energy Pipeline in Reeves County, Texas. A 100-percent visual inspection of the 0.62-acre project area was conducted, complemented by eight shovel tests and two creek-bank scrapings. On February 12 and 14, 2018, Moore Archeological Consulting, Inc., conducted an intensive pedestrian archeological survey of seven separate permit areas (within four separate tracts of land) located along the Sam Houston Parkway toll road. The tracts are spread over a 2.83 km (1.76 mile) length portion of the roadway, from just north of Green Shadows Drive to north of Pine Street, in Pasadena, Texas. The tracts will be developed into detention basins, with an expected depth of impact of eight feet.
