Impacts Of Extended Family Households Among Latinos On The Central Coast, Ca, Fredy Figueroa, Chelsea Williams

Social Sciences

Currently, there is limited information about this topic. We hope to examine this trend among the Latino community and shed light on the reciprocal benefits grandparents, parents and children obtain from extended family living arrangements. Based on our research, we concluded that the long-term emotional and economic benefits associated with extended family households greatly outweigh the inconsequential, short-term disadvantages that result from this situation.
