Pharmacological Effects On Aggression And Manual Responding Generated By Tail Shock In The Squirrel Monkey, Grace S. Emley

The response-independent, fixed-time delivery of electric tail shock in the squirrel monkey generated bites on a rubber hose immediately following shock delivery and manual responses on a lever immediately preceding shock. The procedure generated two temporally and topographically different responses in the single organism in a single experimental session. All responses were measured objectively via response manipulanda and recorded on cumulative recorders and counters. Nine pharmacological compounds were administered to the squirrel monkey after a stable baseline of bite and lever press responding had been established. Problem. This study was concerned with the family concept of Seventh-day Adventist parents in Costa Rica. It was expected that an understanding of such concept would provide useful clues for the development of family life education programs sponsored by the Church.
The purpose was to obtain a description of the family concept of Seventh-day Adventist parents in Costa Rica, by determining: (1) their Real Family Concept, its relationships to several selected variable, and its content dimensions; (2) their Ideal Family Concept, its relationships to several selected variable, and its content dimensions.

Problem. In a changing society, organizations must innovate. To achieve productive change it is necessary that the organizational climate and its effect upon organizational personnel be understood. In the field of human resource management there is always a need for insights into psychological climate in order for organizational initiative and creativity to operate. It was the purpose of the present study to construct a patterned profile of how Seventh-day Adventist leading church members in Canada perceive the organizational climate, and to analyze the findings in relationship to creativity.
