ABSTRACT
The study investigated users’ satisfaction with library facilities and the attitude of staff in the national library of Cross River State, Nigeria, was the focus of this investigation. Abstract
The paper examined disciplinary measures and job performance of library staff in academic libraries in Imo State. It was guided by five objectives of the study. The survey research design was adopted for the study. The population of the study is thirty (34) Heads of Departments in the five academic libraries studied. The instrument for data collection was an online questionnaire rated using the four-point scale. Out of the 34 copies of instrument sent, 28 were returned showing 82% return rate. The present study was designed to investigate the staff awareness of ergonomics principles required at the University of Jos Library computer workstation. The methodology adopted was the case study. The target population comprised of all the library staff available as at the time of the study. Total enumeration method was used to obtain the relevant data from the respondents because the population was not too large. Out of the 129 copies of questionnaire distributed 119 were filled and retuned. However, only 36(30.25%) respondents indicated that they use the computer to perform library tasks.
