The study deals with the impact of the expected population increase on some social services ‎‎(education, health and housing) and the natural resources (water, energy and agricultural land) in ‎Jordan during the period of 2002-2010 to explore the changes which may occur as a result of this ‎increase.‎ The study used the descriptive analysis in interpreting the data and producing the results using the ‎SPSS Package in estimating the population projection and their demand from the social services and ‎natural resources till 2010.‎ The study has identified some results indicating that population increase will remain relatively high in ‎comparison with …

In this article the region of ER RACHIDIA is taken as a space toanalyze the impact of the massive urbanization in the use of natural resources and the waste management and its impact in environment, the massive urbanization of this region causes an unbalance in the ecosystem, water is overexploited by agriculture and the subpopulation but also the massive tourism , the ground water is polluted by the untreated waste, and depleted by the massive urbanization , the growth of the population causes the overexploitation of wood and all natural resources .
