Bibliometrics can help libraries to understand their local community’s journal usage patterns, and to identify the most influential journals to subscribe to. Collection development can be informed by bibliometrics data on both the relative influence of journals in the worldwide community, and on the publication and citation patterns. The study analysis the CA: A Cancer Journal for Clinicians from 2010 to 2019. On the study period, 419 articles published and received 2,52,572 citations. The present study reveals the bibliometric analysis of research articles published in D-Lib Magazine from 2013 to 2017. The study covers the growth of literature and authorship patterns of the journal during the said period. Further, it analyzes various bibliometrics aspects such as authorship pattern, authors’ degree of collaboration, geographical productivity in scholarly publications and form of citation. For this study, a total of 185 articles are taken up for the evaluation. Necessary bibliometric measures are applied to analyze different publication parameters. The study elaborates the current publication trends in the field of telemedicine as well as the application of growth models to forecast future trends with the goal of determining the fitness of growth in publications using exponential, linear, and logistic growth models. The data for the study was downloaded from the Scopus database over a fifteen-year period, from 2005 to 2019. During the period, a total of 45719 publications were found with publication productivity showing an upward trend throughout the period. This study presents a bibliometric study of DESIDOC Journal of Library and Information Technology for the period of 7 years (2014-2020). The paper covers the bibliometric analyses of year wise publication of articles, authorship pattern, total number of contributions, geographical distribution, average number of references per article, etc. The result showed that out of 384 articles single author contributed 112 articles while the rest articles were contributed by joint authors. The objective of this study is to report the outcome of the bibliometric analysis of Open Access (OA) journals in veterinary and animal sciences (VAS) indexed by the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).The DOAJ which indexed 16,460 open access journals as on 10 June 2021, contains 335 open access veterinary and animal science journals (2.03%) and provides access to 1,63,500 articles which is about 2.63% of the total articles. We performed the bibliometric analysis of Library Practice and Philosophy (LPP) from 1998 to 2020.

Methodology:

In April 2021, the data was collected from Scopus, one of the largest databases in the world.

Results:

From 1998 to 2020, LPP published 3364 research documents with 6169 citations. The highest documents (n=988) were published in 2019, while the highest citations (n=1469) were noted in 2020. As per Scopus data, the overall h-index was twenty-one (n=21). In all publications, 4428 authors, 4238 institutes and 56 countries contributed. This presentation examines the applicability of bibliometrics for assessing the scholarship of faculty librarians at American research universities. This review includes a comparison of publication rates in academic disciplines and librarianship, as well as between areas within librarianship. It concludes by suggesting the importance of understanding disciplinary norms when considering using publishing statistics in retention, tenure, and promotion decisions.

The paper illustrates the various bibliometric factors in the Journal DJLIT, which published 588 publications during 2011-2020. As per the analysis, in 2012, most of the papers were published with the highest growth rate of 20.68 %. Digital archiving has been practised more and more in recent years, because of its significant potentials and long-term benefits. Bibliometric based review was applied to examine the digital archive research publications from the web of science from 1989 to 2019. A total of 639 publications were obtained with a steady increase of publications every year.
