The purpose of this studio project is to inventory the resources and create a preliminary marketing strategy for the Town of Berre. A community wide survey was to be designed to gain insights on the perspectives and strengths of the community, but it was decided that citizen feeling could be more effectively and practically determined through focus groups.

Ireland is a world leader in literature, music and well bred horses. She has also done well in economic growth, foreign trade and low inflation. However, in unemployment she is also, unfortunately, a world leader. This book approaches the jobs crisis in Ireland by reflecting on the experience of five relatively low unemployemnt nations: Austria, Japan, Norway and Sweden. Risk Analysis In Economics: An Application To University Finances, William D. Nordhaus

Although the theory of decision making under uncertainty has been extensively studied for a half century, applications to business applications are relatively rare. This study frames a systematic risk analysis and applies the technique to the finances of private colleges and universities. It begins by constructing budgets for colleges and universities and then analyzes the major economic factors affecting those budgets. It estimates the variability (or unpredictability) associated with each major external variable from historical data and from economic forecasts. The study finds that government-spending risks outweigh all other external stock market, interest rates, inflation, and wage trends. The paper …
