As everyone is a consumer of the healthcare in one or more points of their lives, Americans have been exposed to the fractured healthcare system. We all hear stories concerning America’s overpriced medical care, medical debt and bankruptcies, and delayed treatments. However, with a partisan government and private businesses involved in these nationwide debates, many Americans believe in little to no effective change in our healthcare system to benefit the masses. Due to this, many Americans are defaulting in the idea of Bernie Sanders’ “Medicare for all” or “Healthcare for all” plan to work for America’s current health system.

The following paper addresses religious women’s low levels of sexual self-esteem. Sexual self-esteem is a complex identity system that includes one’s self-perceived attractiveness, sexual moral judgments, confidence in one’s agency to adhere to moral standards, and more. The Christian Church has a responsibility to intervene in women’s low sexual self-esteem because they have a call to disciple people in God’s truth; sex is depicted as a natural desire and gift from God in the Bible and sexual immorality is a topic that needs clarification, especially in religious groups. Uncomfortable "Comfort Women:" Examining Shame Culture And The Internal Conflict Between Japanese-Americans And Korean-Americans Regarding The Comfort Women Issue, Janice Lee

Women's rights are human rights that should be emphasized across the globe. The sexual slavery system that the Japanese Imperial army put in place during World War II, commonly known as 'comfort women,' is now getting international attention. 50 years after the war ended, survivors and former 'comfort women' are now raising their voice and telling their stories. This research paper focuses on the issue of shame culture and how it drives the internal conflict between Japanese-Americans and Korean-Americans today and how this long conflict effects generations today.
