The purpose of this investigation was to measure the cross section for each of the reactions 87Rb(n, 2n) 86mRb, 112Cd(n, 2n)111mCd, 138Ba(n, 2n) 137mBa and 186W(n, 2n) 185mW at 14.7 ± 0.03 MeV incident neutron energy. The incident neutron flux was determined during each irradiation from the activity produced in copper or aluminum disks between which the isotopically enriched sample was sandwiched.
