E2/M1 Multipole Mixing Ratios Of Transitions In Erbium Isotopes, Harun Reşi̇t Yazar, İhsan Uluer

Turkish Journal of Physics

Erbium isotopes (Z = 64) lie in the transitional region that occurs at the middle of the range of deformed nuclei. \gamma -ray E2/M1 mixing ratios for selected transitions in ^{166-168}Er are calculated in the proton-neutron interacting boson approximation(IBA-2). The results obtained for ^{166 -168}Er are reasonably in good agreement with the previous experimental and teoretical values.

The Investigation Of The E2/M1 Multipole Mixing Ratios And Deformation Parameters Of Electromagnetic Transitions In Decay Of ^{156}Gd, Mehmet Baylan, İhsan Uluer Jan 2002

The Investigation Of The E2/M1 Multipole Mixing Ratios And Deformation Parameters Of Electromagnetic Transitions In Decay Of ^{156}Gd, Mehmet Baylan, İhsan Uluer

Turkish Journal of Physics

The extended Rotation -- Vibration Model (RTV) containing different deformations for protons and neutrons is applied to ^{156}Gd nucleus. Using the Rotation-Vibration Model approach multipole mixing ratios \delta (E2/M1), deformation parameter \beta_{o} , g_{R} factors, and quadrupole moments q_{2} + and q_{o} were calculated.

Iba-1 Calculations Of E2/M1 Mixing Ratios And Quadrupole Moments In ^{154}Gd, Mehmet Baylan Jan 2001

Iba-1 Calculations Of E2/M1 Mixing Ratios And Quadrupole Moments In ^{154}Gd, Mehmet Baylan

Turkish Journal of Physics

In this study the Interacting Boson Approximation is applied in its basic form (IBA-1) to the calculation of gamma-ray E2/M1 multipole mixing ratios and quadrupole moments [Q( 2^{+} )] of electromagnetic transitions in ^{154}Gd. The numerical results obtained for ^{154}Gd are in reasanably good agreement with previous experimental and theoretical values.
