In the present article, the effects of slip and homogeneous-heterogeneous chemical reaction on peristaltic pumping of a couple stress fluid through a permeable medium with complaint wall is studied as a model for transport phenomena occurring in the small intestine of human beings during digestion process. The mean effective coefficient of dispersion on simultaneous homo-geneous, heterogeneous chemical reactions has been derived through long wavelength assump-tion, and conditions of Taylor’s limit.
