They have responded with emergency management arrangements and policies to enhance government and community capacity to anticipate, withstand and recover from disastrous events. This paper reports on two recent initiatives in public-private partnerships on Queensland’s Gold Coast. The current article characterises this process through analysis of individual reactions: SMR (steam methane reforming), WGS (water gas shift) and CPO (catalytic partial oxidation). As the wind industry grows in Michigan, a higher portion of the spending to construct new wind facilities could remain in the state.
