Promoting the regional demonstration of energy technology for carbon peak and carbon neutrality (referred to as "dual carbon") is an important part of the Chinese Academy of Sciences' action plan to support the "dual carbon" goals. This study discusses the significance of carrying out the comprehensive demonstration of "dual carbon" technology from the two dimensions of "technology integration demonstration" and "typical regional demonstration".
