Vitis Gene Expression Profiling Using Mixed Models, Yin Yin

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze gene expression in grapevine under different treatments using a mixed linear statistical model. The experiment involves two Vitis species (V. vinifera Cabernet sauvignon and V. aestivalis Norton) and applies two different treatments to them (inoculation with Erysiphe necator conidiospores and mock inoculation). There are three biological replicates measured at each of the following six assigned time points: 0, 4, 8, 12, 24, and 48 hours.
