A stroke is a debilitating impairment affecting a large number of people each year. One of the main impairments post stroke is shoulder subluxation. Secondary to shoulder subluxation, a patient will experience pain associated as hemiplegic. Two types of interventions to address this deficit is taping, specifically the California tri-pull taping method and mental practice/motor imagery. The following single-case design of a 74-year-old female, who has been experiencing hemiplegic shoulder pain, as a result of a stroke in 2018.
