The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of elbow position on segmental motor nerve conduction velocity (MNCV) of ulnar nerve and compound motor action potential (CMAP) pick up on abductor digiti minimi. The study was performed on 38 ulnar nerves of 19 healthy persons under 4 different joint angles (FE: full extension, F45: flexion 45°, F90: flexion 90°, FF: full flexion). The results show: (1) The latency, amplitude and area of CMAP are all not affected by elbow position.
