Today, the International Classification of Diseases, Ninth Revision, Clinical Modification is more than 35 years old and there is a great need for the United States of America to implement the International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision. The International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision has two parts: The International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision, Clinical Modification for diagnosis codes and The International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision, Procedure Coding System for inpatient procedure codes.
