Background: Nursing students were caught unprepared for the COVID-19 pandemic. Both the inability to control the epidemic and the interruption of education caused students to experience fear, anxiety, and uncertainty. This study investigates the relationships between nursing students’ attitudes toward the nursing profession and their fear of COVID-19 and intolerance of uncertainty.

Background: Students’ academic self-efficacy is greatly associated with their academic performance. An effective instrument is needed to assess academic self-efficacy in the Saudi context. This study assessed the psychometric properties of the Academic Nurse Self-Efficacy Scale-Arabic version (ANSE-A) given to student nurses and the associations between the students’ demographics and overall ANSE-A scores.

The clinical learning environment is where nursing students gain knowledge, practice skills and become socialized into the nursing profession. Traditionally, in Canada, the clinical learning environment takes place hospital and community settings. Promoting health within communities is a primary responsibility for nurses and other healthcare professionals. This involves the active incorporation of spiritual and faith-based approaches to health. Challenges remain in the delivery of effective health delivery that incorporates faith for at-risk communities. This is a retrospective descriptive study designed to explore the effects of faith-based health promotion sessions on existing health habits within local faith organizations from 2015-2018. Nursing students in their final year of their nursing education program are expected to administer medications to patients safely and competently. Currently, there is a lack of research with regard to how senior nursing students are using clinical reasoning to support medication safety in the clinical setting. This qualitative descriptive case study explored how senior nursing students applied critical thinking and clinical reasoning to support medication safety in their final clinical practicums. Background: Nurse preceptors fulfill a vital role in the success of preceptorship experiences during clinical education of nursing students in their final year of study. Literature does not provide insight on preceptors’ perceptions about whether they feel supported in their knowledge about how to guide undergraduate nursing students in complex clinical learning environments.
