On the assumption that there is less turnover and optimum performance among employees who receive a high level of Job satisfaction, this study was undertaken to obtain data that administration could use in evaluating Job satisfaction among ancillary personnel.

The normative-survey was the method chosen and a standardized tool, the S.R.A, Employee Inventory, developed by the Science Research Associates of the University of Chicago, was employed for collecting the data. This study was conducted to find out to what extent the student load at the Paradise Valley School of Nursing was conductive to a well balance life and to make recommendations which might guide the faculty in curriculum planning.

The normative-survey was the method used to gather data from the faculty and students of the Paradise Valley School of Nursing. This study was conducted to find out if the giving of alternate hot-and-cold treatments to the chest following abdominal hysterectomy would result in measurable benefits in improved patient comfort and rate of recovery. The White Memorial Hospital was selected as the control area and the Loma Linda Sanitarium and Hospital was selected as the experimental area.

Literature was reviewed to determine the value of wet heat and cold on the circulatory and respiratory system and whether or not their effects would be useful postoperatively.

The significance of the student's reactions to various educational experiences has been receiving increasing recognition during the last several years.
