Patients and families searching for home health care need accurate information regarding the community resources available to them to promote aging in place and to maintain their quality of life. The purpose of this study was to examine medical social workers' experiences, job burnout, and coping strategies. Participants in this study were recruited from various hospitals in the Inland Empire. The findings were able to act as a pilot study to help augment policies that effect medical social workers.
