Interprofessional Education (IPE) and One Health are two common and overlapping frameworks for teaching collaborative practice. IPE is common at human medical institutions, while One Health is more common in graduate and veterinary programs. The connection between IPE and One Health is still being explored both in scholarship and in real-world professional settings. This prospective, qualitative research study examines the intersection of IPE and One Health at institutions that are members of the Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) One Health Alliance (COHA). Problem: Obesity is linked to more than 200 chronic conditions, lower quality of life, and worse outcomes for patients. Let’s Go! is a community engagement initiative that works with communities to create environments that support healthy behaviors that impact obesity. Let’s Go! provides educational programming for all medical learners and providers throughout Maine and Carroll County, New Hampshire. Background

With recent changes made to move USMLE Step 1 and COMLEX Level 1 scores to Pass/Fail, it becomes necessary to find other metrics to evaluate residency candidates. One conserved metric included in all residency applications is medical school transcripts. This study aims to highlight the highly varied transcript reporting in a new era of holistic applicant review.

Methods

Medical school transcripts were extracted from the Electronic Residency Application Service applications to our anesthesiology residency program for the 2021-2022 application cycle.
