This study mainly aimed to know the effect of using cloud computing on improving the efficiency of the performance of accounting information systems in the service companies listed on the Palestine Stock Exchange during the COVID-19 pandemic.

To achieve the objective of the study, the researchers adopted the descriptive analytical method, and the questionnaire tool to collect data from its sources, analyze it through the SPSS program, and extract the results.

Problem definition: This paper analyzes a market design problem in Medicare Advantage (MA), the largest risk-adjusted capitation payment program in the U.S. healthcare market. Evidence exists that the current MA capitation payment program unintentionally incentivizes health plans to cherry pick profitable patient types, which is referred to as “risk selection”. However, the root causes of the risk selection are not comprehensively understood, which we study in this paper. This month’s Dentistry and the Law column discusses actions to take with a former employee who solicits patients. In cases where former employees solicit patients using stolen patient information, dental practices can take legal action. Employment agreements and employee handbooks should include confidentiality clauses. Breach of these clauses allows for lawsuits, seeking damages for business loss. Additional claims like tortious interference, unfair competition, and misappropriation may also apply. Michigan's Uniform Trade Secrets Act can provide injunctive relief and damages if the patient information is deemed a "trade secret." Seeking legal advice from an experienced attorney is essential.

Background:

Behavioral health integration allows for patient-centered care, leads to higher levels of provider-patient engagement, and is key to improving patient outcomes. However, behavioral health integration is administratively burdensome and therefore is often not adopted. Technology presents opportunities to increase care team efficiency and improve patient outcomes. The goal of this study was to retrospectively compare clinical outcomes and emergency department utilization in patients using a technology platform compared to patients receiving treatment as usual.

Methods:

The technology platform, NeuroFlow, was deployed to deliver technology-enabled behavioral health integration in 30 clinics, and 598 electronic health records were analyzed.

The present study aimed to understand how delivering pediatric treatment services via ‘teletherapy’ affected speech-language therapists (SLTs) during the initial outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis in 2020. SLTs reported on their experiences with the change from in-person to remote service delivery via two national surveys distributed at the start of the pandemic between April 2020 and July 2020. To explain SLTs’ survey responses, this dissertation introduced the Professional Adaptation Model (PA Model). Employing a PICO question and a literature search pathway via PubMed, the analysis includes systematic reviews and meta-analyses. Findings suggest that crowns from digital scans generally exhibit clinically acceptable marginal and internal fit, often outperforming conventional impressions. However, heterogeneity in study samples and methodologies contributes to varied results. Introduction: The United States Society of Critical Care Medicine has announced a shortage of all critical care intensivists due to the increased need for critical care for the aging population with comorbidities and improved life expectancy. This shortage has led to tele-ICU programs that have allowed intensivists to care for patients simultaneously remotely.
