Nanotechnology finds frequent application in everyday life, particularly in the field of medicine. Due to the capabilities of nanotechnology, examining and manipulating atoms, chemical bonds , and molecules between substances is a relatively straightforward task. When applied in the field of dentistry it is referred to as “nano dentistry”. Nanoparticles which are believed to possess superior efficacy, find significant usage in dentistry, primarily in the prevention and treatment of oral disorders, as well as the maintenance of good oral health and hygiene. Nanoparticles possess distinct characteristics such as their surface to volume ratio, antimicrobial activity, physical, mechanical and biological properties, …

The creation of the relevant technology must be driven by educational demands. Even so, the human factor must always be taken into consideration. Exciting new technology and potent cures will continue to be produced by scientific research. The capacity of a digital computer, computer-controlled robot to carry out actions closely identified with intelligent beings is known as artificial intelligence (AI). The evolution of AI has been clearly accelerating over the past ten years, and dentistry has not been an exception. Dental AI is important for diagnosing patients, storing patient data, and evaluating genetic information to improve patient treatment. This applies …

Background: Orofacial Esthetic Scale (OES) is use to test psychometric properties of Indian population and Indian version of Psychosocial Impact of Dental Aesthetic Questionnaire (PIDAQ) for psychometric evaluation. The aim of this study is to develop Orofacial Esthetic Scale (OES) and to test psychometric properties of individuals in Indian version in the cultural environment in central India.
Materials and methods: A hospital based cross sectional study was done where altogether 30 questions were asked to patients, their relatives and Dentists. Out of which 8 questions were related to Orofacial Esthetics Scale(OES) whereas 24 pertaining to Psychosocial Impact of Dental Aesthetic …

Hepatitis B continues to be a serious occupational concern for dental healthcare practitioners, with the possibility of transmission occurring during patient care practices. The incidence of hepatitis B amongst dentists, the factors raising their occupational risk, and the efficiency of vaccination programs in reducing this risk are all examined in this paper's methodical evaluation of the body of prior research. This study addresses the important confluence of hepatitis B infection, occupational exposure, and vaccination status amongst dentists. In addition, it provides methods for improving the protection of dental professionals against hepatitis B infection by summarizing major findings and highlighting gaps …
