Homoeopathy In The Management Of Generalised Anxiety Disorder: A Case Report, Karunakara Moorthi, Radhika P

Introduction: Generalised anxiety disorder (G.A.D.) is characterised by excessive, pervasive and uncontrollable worry. G.A.D. is a chronic and recurrent disorder with a low rate of remission with a considerable impact on quality of life. There is a scarcity of literature published on homoeopathy on G.A.D. This case report illustrates an improvement without recurrence of a G.A.D. case treated exclusively with homoeopathic medicine.

Introduction: Hyperuricaemia is serum urate concentration exceeding the limit of solubility, leading to its precipitation and predisposing the affected persons to gout. The increased level of uric acid in urinary excretion can also lead to nephrolithiasis. Introduction: Mania is a form of mood disorder initially, characterised by elevated mood, insomnia, increased libido and grandiosity. More severe forms develop elation and grandiose delusions. Case Summary: A patient reported in the Out Patient Department with symptoms of increased delusions for 3 weeks. The consultant psychiatrist diagnosed it as a case of bipolar affective disorder, current episode manic with psychotic features. Young mania rating scale (YMRS) scored 38 at the time of admission. A vestibular schwannoma, often called an acoustic neuroma/schwannoma, is a benign primary intracranial tumor of the myelin-forming cells of the vestibulo-cochlear nerve (8 th cranial nerve). This tumor arises from the Schwann cells responsible for the myelin sheath that helps keep peripheral nerves insulated.
