Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the potential ameliorating effect of bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells (BM-MSCs) on tongue papillae of rats with experimentally induced hypothyroidism using environmental scanning electron microscope (ESEM) and fluorescent microscopic evaluation. Material and Methods: For this study 30 adult male albino rats were divided into three groups (ten rats each): (1) Control group: The rats allowed to access freely balanced diet and freshwater supply during the course of the experimental period (8 weeks).
