The Exploration Of Utilization Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Among People With Spinal Cord Injury In Central Taiwan, Hong-Li Lee, Liu-Ing Bih

People with spinal cord injury often asked help to manage the symptoms such as spasticity, inco-ntinence of sphincter or paresthesia with combination of Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine. In order to explore the popularization of, perceived effectiveness of traditional Chinese medicine, and difficulty to be faced when utilizing traditional Chinese medicine among people with spinal cord injury in central Taiwan, we collected and analyzed 115 effective questionnaires of them who had ever used Chinese medicine after injury. The results showed: the ways utilizing traditional Chinese medicine most were prescribed Chinese herbs (27.4%), acupuncture (25.6%) and Chinese massage (20.0%), the …
