In Indiana alone, nearly 29% of adults currently use tobacco, with 19% of the total being cigarette smokers (Indiana Department of Health, 2022). Problem: A medical center in the Diablo Service Area had one of the highest rates in hospital-acquired pressure injury (HAPI), benchmarking with other facilities, with the project unit one of the top offenders. Problem: Failure to identify and treat attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is associated with academic underachievement, social difficulties, negative physical and mental health effects. Evidence suggests approximately 3% of a broad-based population sample and roughly 13% of an at-risk population are undiagnosed despite significant symptomology (Downey & Zun, 2018; Madsen et al., 2018; Okumura et al., 2019). Adverse respiratory events are the most common injuries in anesthesia; difficult intubation and ventilation contribute to most cases. Injuries following inadequate airway management include cerebral hypoxia, aspiration, and cardiac arrest. Despite the risk and consequences following inadequate airway management, most medical facilities lack standardized airway assessments for anesthesia providers. Current evidence implicates that ultrasound measurement of the hyomental distance demonstrates the highest specificity and accuracy in predicting difficult intubation. Method: Through a focused ethnography, a semi-structured guide was utilized to interview 24 AA men. Objectives. To investigate the connection between socioeconomic status (SES) and cardiovascular disease in Vermont adults through the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) data.

Methods. Data from 4,231 participants from the BRFSS 2019 Vermont survey was used. Education level, income level, federal poverty status, and employment status were used to represent overall socioeconomic status. The study investigated the connection of those variables with a history of coronary heart disease (CHD) and myocardial infarction (MI) to represent overall cardiovascular disease (CVD). The research showed that osteoporosis reduces mineral density in bones and can be adequately treated within a short amount of time. This study sought to identify the most common health concerns among this population at initial consultation and identify patient factors related to these concerns to ultimately improve health care delivery.
