Introduction: With the recognition of postpartum depression as a distinct medical condition since the release of the 2013 DSM-V, there simultaneously arose a need for therapy. As of March 2019, brexanolone became the first FDA approved medication indicated for the treatment of postpartum depression. The purpose of this review is to consolidate and present the safety and efficacy data of a new treatment option for postpartum depression.

Telemedicine, though present in different forms for many decades, has grown, and its use is changing at a faster-than-ever pace. Objective: The objective of this selective EBM review is to determine whether or not high dose intramuscular alefacept is a more effective and a safe treatment option in visibly reducing the severity of chronic plaque psoriasis in men and women 16 years and older compared to standard IV and IM treatment forms.
Study Design: Review of three dichotomous data, English language, and primary randomized controlled trials published 2003 – 2008.
