Journal of the Minnesota Academy of Science
As a part of the study, "Energy relations of terrestrial ecosystems," being carried on at Cedar Creek Natural History Area, and generously supported by the Hill Family Foundation, the University of Minnesota, and the National Research Council of Canada, an attempt was made in the summer of 1960 to discover the relationship between the chlorophyll content of various plant communities and the visible albedo, that is the ratio of the amount of light reflected from the landscape to the total amount falling upon it. ยท
