This study was designed to characterize changes in the acute phase proteins (APPs), hormones parallel to performance, and egg quality traits in laying hens exposed to heat stress (HS). A total of 120 sixteen-week-old Lohmann hens was allowed an adaptation period of 5 weeks in 3 different rooms at 21 °C. In the study, fertility parameters of Hair goats and the growth performance of kids raised under farmer conditions were investigated. The data of birth weight of 28,768 kids, the body weight of 27,541 kids aged d 90, and reproductive parameters of 26,693 does were used between 2013 and 2017 years. The paper presents the results of a rabbit blood biochemical study after the substitution of simulated defects in spongy and compact bone tissue by platelet-rich fibrin and its combination with hydroxyapatite granules with ß-tricalcium phosphate. The aim of the work is to establish the biochemical features of reparative osteogenesis in the time of osteosubstitution by platelet-enriched fibrin and its combination with hydroxyapatite and ß-tricalcium phosphate. In this study, we aimed to determine the number, volume, and lumbosacral enlargement of the lumbosacral segments using stereology methods. In accordance with the study, 10 adult geese (regardless of sex) which were healthy and weighing 3-4 kg was chosen. After the geese had been perfused with 10% formaldehyde, the lumbosacral parts of their spinal cord were revealed by dissection. After each segment of the lumbosacral section had been separated, tissue samples were obtained from these segments. In this study, different applications of ram introduction at the beginning of the breeding season were investigated in terms of their effects on some fertility parameters. The rams were introduced to the herd (Farm II), removed for 6 days, and reintroduced again in the experiment group, while the rams stayed within the herd (Farm I) all of the breeding season in the control group. In this study, avian coronavirus infectious bronchitis virus (IBV), infectious laryngotracheitis virus (ILTV), avian metapneumovirus (AMPV), and avian reovirus (ARV) were evaluated in broiler and layer flocks. For this purpose, tracheal swabs from 48 broiler and 45 layer flocks with respiratory signs were inoculated SPF embryonated chicken eggs for virus isolation. The viruses were identified by real-time PCR. Results showed that the most common virus in both broiler and layer farms was IBV with incidence rates of 58.33% and 46.67%, respectively. Eighteen female Sahiwal calves of average four month of age and 54 kg body weight were selected for the study. The animals were divided into three groups (T0, T1, and T2) on body weight basis. The animals were fed as per ICAR feeding standard (2013) for calves for 90 days. The animals in T0 group T0 were fed as per feeding standard while in T1 and T2 groups, fresh Azolla pinnata was fed by replacing 15% and 30% protein content of concentrate with Azolla pinnata on DM basis. This study was conducted to determine the effect of nonfiber carbohydrates (NFC) and crude protein (CP) present in formula feed on the rumen fermentation characteristics and growth performance of weaned Hanwoo calves. Forty weaned calves were randomly assigned to four dietary groups based on NFC and CP levels as follows: high NFC (HN) at 38%-42%, low NFC (LN) at 33%-36%, high CP (HP) at 25%-26%, and low CP (LP) at 23%-24%. In this study; the antibiotic resistance properties of Extended Spectrum ßeta-lactamase (ESßL), Amp-C, carbapenemase-producing Escherichia coli (E. coli) strains isolated from chicken breast meat were determined by disc diffusion and E-test methods. Additionally, it is aimed to determine antibiotic resistance genes by classical polymerase chain reaction (PCR). In this study, two successive generations of queens belonging to a native Bombus terrestris population in the Central Black Sea Region of Türkiye were reared under controlled laboratory conditions to examine its developmental characteristics and suitability for mass production. The first generation was formed by a hundred Bombus terrestris queens which were caught from native fauna in Ordu Province, Türkiye. Salmonellosis caused by nontyphoidal Salmonella is the second most common zoonotic infection worldwide. The major foodborne route of this infection is the consumption of contaminated poultry meat and egg.
