Analysis Of Plane Netting With Twine Breakage In Aquaculture Net Cage, Zhong-Qiang Zheng, Rong Wan, Zong-Yu Chang, Yang Zhang, Jun Tao

Offshore fish cage is one of the most important facilities for marine aquaculture farm. Existence and development of netting breakage can cause severe consequences, e.g., escape of fish, structure failure of cages, economic losses and ecological hazards. This paper presents the dynamic analysis of netting with breakage in fish cage under the influence of currents. The dynamic model of plane net with/without twine breakage is developed by using lumped mass method. The numerical integration method is employed to solve the differential equations.
