Copyright law rewards an artificial monopoly to individual authors for their creations. This paper discusses the use of Photoshop in the United States and when overly retouched ads cross the threshold into False Advertising. I consider opinions from the NAD and whether or not a "Photoshop Law" would ever be feasible in the United States.
