The purpose of the Antitrust Law which is regulated under Indonesian Law Number 5 of 1999 concerning Prohibition of Monopoly Practices and Unfair Business Competition, is to create market efficiency by preventing monopoly, both productive efficiency and allocative efficiency. Methods that can be used to identify anti-competitive practices are per-se-illegal and rule-of-reason.
