This is the third year of Dicta, the law school's literary journal and a child of the vision of two 1996 graduates, Miles Yanick and Matt Morris. We hope that this creative forum will continue to grow and to flourish, enriching the law school community by offering a spectrum of poetry, fiction, essays, photography, and artwork. The editors faced a difficult task again this year as we again received more material than we could publish. We continued the policy of considering all submissions anonymously. We're back. For the second year in a row we have solicited, selected, and published the creative work of many talented members of the law school community. Again, we received more than we could publish. Again, the final result reflects the varying and often conflicting views of the editorial staff. All submissions were considered anonymously, so any overlap between the list of editors and the list of contributors is simply due to the fact that those interested in editing Dicta were also among those interested in contributing to it.
