Abstract: The costs of vehicle distribution in the process of cold chain logistics is analyzed and amended; A mathematical model with mixing time window is built to balance the customers' service request with importance level; To minimize the total cost, a mathematical model which uses a factor to make balance between the stability of customer demand fluctuation and the cost increase in the assignment phase is established. Based on MATLAB software, the optical solution is found with adaptive genetic algorithm by taking the background of a distribution center to simulate and analyze.

Abstract: For the convenience of airport to publish the accurate information about flight status to passengers in time, estimating the service time of airport flight support is needed. Reverse logistics has been implemented by various companies because of its ability to gain more profit and maintain the competitiveness of the company. However, extensive studies on the vehicle routing problem with cross-docking (VRPCD) only considered the forward flow instead of the reverse flow. Motivated by the ability of a VRPCD network to minimize the distribution cost in the forward flow, this research incorporates the reverse logistics scheme in a VRPCD network, namely the VRP with reverse cross-docking (VRP-RCD). Cross-docking is a logistic technique that can reduce costs occurred in a supply chain network while increasing the flow of goods, thus shortening the shipping cycle. Inside a cross-dock facility, the goods are directly transferred from incoming vehicles to outgoing vehicles without storing them in-between. Our research extends and combines this cross-docking technique with a well-known logistic problem, the vehicle routing problem (VRP), for delivering multiple products and addresses it as the VRP for multi-product cross-docking (VRP-MPCD).
