Incorporation Of High-K Hfo2 Thin Films In A-Igzo Thin Film Transistor Devices, Aaron Hamilton Bales
Incorporation Of High-K Hfo2 Thin Films In A-Igzo Thin Film Transistor Devices, Aaron Hamilton Bales
Masters Theses
In this study, HfO2 [hafnium oxide] thin films are investigated extensively as part of indium gallium zinc oxide (IGZO) thin film transistor (TFT) devices. They are incorporated into the TFTs, both as a gate insulator and a passivation layer. First, the HfO2 [hafnium oxide] films themselves are investigated through an annealing study and through I-V and C-V measurements. Then, HfO2 [hafnium oxide] is suggested as a replacement for commonly used SiO2 [silicon dioxide] gate insulator, as it has a dielectric constant that is 4 – 6 times higher. This higher dielectric constant allows for comparable TFT performance at a lower …
Computer Simulations Of Propulsion Of Self-Propelled Flexible Nanobody, Ye Luo
Computer Simulations Of Propulsion Of Self-Propelled Flexible Nanobody, Ye Luo
Masters Theses
Swimming bodies such as flagellum and fishes are found everywhere in liquid environment. The research of simulation of swimmers is one of the most important branches among the field of biophysics. This study focus on the direct computer simulation of self-propelled flexible nanobody in fluid field. Two new objectives is studied based on the previous research of Tai-hsien Wu and Dewei ai (2014)[1]. ln Wu's article, the front end of micro swimming body is fixed and the migration of swimmers is neglected. For a further study, one of new targets is to release the head in 3-D simulation fluid area. …
Development Of Infrared And Terahertz Bolometers Based On Palladium And Carbon Nanotubes Using Roll To Roll Process, Amulya Gullapalli
Development Of Infrared And Terahertz Bolometers Based On Palladium And Carbon Nanotubes Using Roll To Roll Process, Amulya Gullapalli
Masters Theses
Terahertz region in the electromagnetic spectrum is the region between Infrared and Microwave. As the Terahertz region has both wave and particle nature, it is difficult to make a room temperature, fast, and sensitive detector in this region. In this work, we fabricated a Palladium based IR detector and a CNT based THz bolometer.
In Chapter 1, I give a brief introduction of the Terahertz region, the detectors already available in the market and different techniques I can use to test my detector. In Chapter 2, I explain about the Palladium IR bolometer, the fabrication technique I have used, and …
