Historical Research Bulletins of the Nebraska Agricultural Experiment Station

The purpose of this investigation was to study the performance and constructional features of various types of washing machines. The machines studied were of four types, classified on the basis of mechanical construction. The types were dolly, gyrator, cylinder, and vacuum. Eight machines were studied, four of the gyrator type, two of the dolly type, one of the cylinder type, and one of the vacuum type.
