Synthesis,Characteristics And Electrochemical Performance Of Nano-Sized Snco/Graphite Composites As Anode For Lithium Ion Batteries, Jin-Shu Cai, Ling Huang, Fu-Sheng Ke, Shi-Gang Sun

The nano-structural Sn-Co/graphite composites were prepared by chemical reduction of the alloy electroless deposition solution in graphite suspensions,and the composites were annealed at 500 ℃.The phase structure and surface morphology of the composites were measured by XRD、SEM and Raman.The results indicate that there were high dispersions and high loadings of Sn-Co nanoparticles on graphite by thermal treatment.Electrochemical lithium storage performance was studied preliminarily on the obtained samples.The graphite modified with the Sn-Co nanoparticles possessed a higher electrochemical reversible capacity than that of graphite during the charge and discharge process.The appetency between the Sn-Co nanoparticles and graphite can effectively reduce or …

The Mechanism Of Ethylenediamine On Electroless Ni-B Alloy Deposition, Sen-Lin Wang

The effects of ethylenediamine stabilizer on the deposition rate and on the stability of the plating bath for electroless deposition of Ni-B alloy were investigated.It was found that the addition of ethylenediamine greatly enhances the stability of the electroless plating bath.The electrochemical polarization including cathodic and anodic polarizations measurements were carried out to examine the effect of ethylenediamine on the deposition process.The results show that ethylenediamine affects both the cathodic and the anodic polarization processes.The oxidation current of the reducer and the reduction current of Ni-B alloy decrease greatly when ethylenediamine was added into the plating bath.The infrared spectroscopy(IR) experiments …

Ni-Mo-P Alloy By Electroless Deposition And Its Properties, Sen-Lin Wang

The electroless Ni-Mo-P alloy has been deposited from the alkaline bath containing boric acid as a buffer agent and sodium citrate as a complexing agent. The effect of deposition parameters, such as pH and concentration of (NH_(4))_(6)Mo_(7)O_(24)4H_(2)Oon the plating rate, the composition, the structure and the microhardness of the coating was examined. It was found that the presence of molybdenum has an inhibitory effect on the alloys deposition. As a consequence, the percentage of molybdenumin the Ni-Mo-P coatings never reaches high values, which was lower than 20 at%. Electroless deposition of Co-P alloy and Co-Fe-P alloy from an alkaline bath, containing sodium hypophosphite as a reducer, boric acid as a buffer agent and sodium citrate as a complexing agent, was investigated respectively. The effects of process parameters, such as pH of solution and metallic salt mole ratio of CoSO_(4)/FeSO_(4), on the plating rate were examined. It was found that the presence of ferrous sulfate in the bath has an inhibitory effect on the alloy deposition. As a consequence, the plating rate of Co-Fe-P is lower than that of Co-P. Electroless Ni_Fe_P alloy deposition from an alkaline bath, containing sodium hypophosphite as reducer, boric acid as buffer agent and sodium citrate as complexing agent, was investigated. To increase the plating rate and to inprove the bath stability, the deposition parameters were optimized. The effects of process parameters (pH,temperature and mole ratio of [Fe 2+ ]/([Ni 2+ ]+[Fe 2+ ]) on the plating rate and deposit composition were examined and it was found that the presence of ferrous sulfate in the bath has an inhibitory effect on the alloy deposition.
