Research On Interoperability Between Tena And Certain Command & Control System, Zhihua Dong, Yuanchang Zhu, Yanqiang Di, Xianguo Meng Sep 2020

Research On Interoperability Between Tena And Certain Command & Control System, Zhihua Dong, Yuanchang Zhu, Yanqiang Di, Xianguo Meng

Journal of System Simulation

Abstract: The heterogeneity prevents systems from the interoperability between C2 system and TENA for inter-connection in test community. Message Transfer Service contains End-to-End deployment mode and Cross-Network deployment mode, respectively there being two Inter-architecture with TENA system. Gateway can be designed to be single-threaded or multi-threaded. From the perspective of interoperability Gateway realizes the interoperability between communication protocols, object models and supporting services. Cooperation mechanism is designed to achieve the interoperability between the communication mechanism of pull mode in TENA and in C2P; meta-model of Message with OWL, and the object model interoperability is realized through model conversion; self-defined …

Research On Context-Aware Model Of Combat Processes, Qiaoyu Deng, He Ming, Zhixue Wang, Zhongwei Wang Aug 2020

Research On Context-Aware Model Of Combat Processes, Qiaoyu Deng, He Ming, Zhixue Wang, Zhongwei Wang

Journal of System Simulation

Abstract: In traditional joint operations, all collaborators make collaboration rules in advance to guide the operations. The unknown battlefield environment varies constantly, and military organizations must make adjustments to guarantee the combat operations order. A model of operational processes based on context awareness is built. The ontology theory is introduced to present the context. On the basis of event calculus, the analysis is carried out to the perceived context of combat processes, and the variation of organizations ability and the situation of processes are provided to guide the self-synchronizing decision-making.

Review On Interoperability Of Command Information System And Combat Simulation System, Zaijiang Tang, Xiangzhong Xu, Xue Qing, Haohua Xu Aug 2020

Review On Interoperability Of Command Information System And Combat Simulation System, Zaijiang Tang, Xiangzhong Xu, Xue Qing, Haohua Xu

Journal of System Simulation

Abstract: The interoperability of command information system and combat simulation system is an important and difficult problem of building practical training environment. The four aspects of interoperability connotation were summarized. The demands of interoperability were analyzed. The status and development of interoperability, especially for C4ISR/Sim Technical Reference Model (TRM), Battle Management Language (MBL), Levels of Conceptual Interoperability Model (LCIM) were studied. The existing problems were summarized, and four kinds of solutions were proposed. The general technical framework of interoperability based on service oriented architecture was designed, and the interoperability solving method based on Ontology was given.

Research Of Multi-Views Based Weapon And Equipment Simulation Model Architecture, Chunguang Peng, Jianhui Deng, Zhang Bo Aug 2020

Research Of Multi-Views Based Weapon And Equipment Simulation Model Architecture, Chunguang Peng, Jianhui Deng, Zhang Bo

Journal of System Simulation

Abstract: :It's an important approach to build reasonable and complete simulation model architecture for promoting the simulation interoperability, establishing simulation model standards and promoting reusability of models and codes. Some problems existed in the research of simulation model architecture were analyzed. The weapon and equipment simulation model architecture describing method based on multi-views was brought out by using the system engineering theory, which emphasized on the complicated relations between modes and its environment. The method could describe simulation model architecture from different views of different users. Therefore, based on DoDAF and the popular software architecture, five-view models of weapon …

Extensible Battle Management Ontology Language, Zaijiang Tang, Xiangzhong Xue, Xue Qin Jan 2019

Extensible Battle Management Ontology Language, Zaijiang Tang, Xiangzhong Xue, Xue Qin

Journal of System Simulation

Abstract: The interoperability of command and control system with combat simulation system is an important and difficult problem in the construction of practical training environment. Aiming at the existing problems of semantic interoperability of language description, the battle management language, web ontology language and extensible markup language are studied. Based on ontology theory, the extensible battle management ontology language (XBMOL) is proposed. The syntax structure and semantic annotation of XBMOL are analyzed as an extension to the C-BML. The XBMOL 6W1H architecture is designed, and the extensible grammatical structure and semantic tagging are described. An example with XBMOL is given …

Development History And Case Study Of Interoperability Between Us Combat Simulation And C2 Systems, Xiangzhong Xu, Zaijiang Tang, Yaxin Tan Jan 2019

Development History And Case Study Of Interoperability Between Us Combat Simulation And C2 Systems, Xiangzhong Xu, Zaijiang Tang, Yaxin Tan

Journal of System Simulation

Abstract: The analysis of heterogeneity between U.S. combat simulation and command & control (C2) systems is carried out. The roadmap, its main development stage and main tendency of interoperability between US combat simulation and C2 systems are also analyzed. Two case studies, Viz., the Naval Simulation System/the Global Command and Control - Maritime (NSS/GCCS-M) Federation and C4I Team Training System (CTTS) are conducted, which are representatives of bidirectional interfaces and embedded interoperability respectively. The main measures such as ensuring interoperability which is a shared responsibility between the M&S and C2 communities, long-term plan and coordination are beneficial to the promotion …
