Abstract: To improve the traffic efficiency of interchange, a simulation model of complete process is built by timed Petri net (TdPN) considering multiple separation and merging behaviors in the process of connected and automated vehicles (CAVs) passing through the interchange. In the light of vehicle priority, a speed guidance strategy is proposed and a CAVs cooperative control model is established, so as to form a complete interchange TdPN model. Abstract: Outside the specific punishment area, the traditional roadside passive speed limit mode lacks traffic management, and thus which indirectly leads to the inconsistency or even sudden change of vehicle behaviors in time and space, thereby affects the traffic efficiency and safety. Abstract: Contraflow left-turn is one of the traffic organization ways at intersections. By analyzing the setting parameters of the contraflow left-turn, the length and the range of the contraflow left-turn lane, the constrained conditions of the contraflow left-turn are determined, and the applicable conditions are determined from the road, traffic and signal control. Abstract: In order to study the benefits of the mixed traffic flow Intelligent Connected Vehicles (ICV) and non-connected vehicles, aiming at the intelligent and connected characteristics of ICV. Through the microscopic traffic simulation software Vissim redevelopment, ICV having the function of intelligent connected vehicles traffic flow modeling is realized. The model not only satisfied minimum per capita delay for all travelers on motor vehicles, but also selected effective green time and phase difference as the optimized parameters. Abstract: Based on the analysis of vehicle driving behaviors and accidents, a cellular automaton (CA) simulation model of longitudinal slope curve on mountain freeway with the possible occurrence of traffic accident was established. The model was preliminarily validated via the comparisons between the accident rates in simulation experiments and that in actual statistics for the concrete roads.
