Scholarly Communication On Web 3.0: An Analysis Based On Web Of Science, Arunkumar V R

Library Philosophy and Practice (e-journal)

For investigating the structure and process of academic communication, bibliometrics provides an excellent set of methodologies and measures. Web 3.0 is a concept that incorporates artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies and brings forth new opportunities and challenges to information scientists. The present study provides an evaluation of the scientific productivity related to Web 3.0 technologies in Web of Science (WoS) during the period of 2007 to 2020. The country-wise distribution of the literature revealed that the majorities (22.330%) of the documents were published from the USA, followed by Spain, and scholarly output of Web 3.0 literature received a total …

Library Philosophy and Practice (e-journal)

Computer aided diagnosis has become upcoming area of research over past few years. With the advent of machine learning and especially deep learning techniques, the scenario of work flow management in healthcare sector is changing drastically. Artificial intelligence has shown potential in the field of breast cancer care. With datasets for machine learning frameworks getting eventually richer with time, we can definitely get newer insights in the field of breast cancer care. This will help in narrowing down the treatment range for patients and increasing patient survivability. The purpose of this study was to perform bibliometric analysis of the literature …

Software Development With Scrum: A Bibliometric Analysis And Profile, Peter Kokol, Sašo Zagoranski, Marko Kokol

Library Philosophy and Practice (e-journal)

Introduction of the Scrum approach into software engineering has changed the way software is being developed. The Scrum approach emphasizes the active end-user involvement, embracing of change, and /iterative delivery of products. Our study showed that Scrum has different variants or is used in combination with different methods. Some tools not normally used in the conventional software approaches, like gamification, content analysis and grounded theory are also employed. However, Scrum like other software development approach focuses on improvement of software process, software quality, business value, performance, usability and efficiency and at the same time to reduce cost, risk and uncertainty. …

Global Research Trend On Cyber Security: A Scientometric Analysis, Somesh Rai, Kunwar Singh Dr, Akhilesh Kumar Varma

Library Philosophy and Practice (e-journal)

Scientometrics is a quantitative analysis of scholarly literature related to a particular subject or area (well defined by some limits, scope and coverage), which helps to understand different aspects about the scholarly literature’s growth in various dimensions of knowledge. Similarly, this study is a quantitative analysis of the Global research trends in cyber security. Some works related to scientometrics of ‘deception, counter-deception in cyberspace’ had been published in 2011, but we have focused on ‘cyber security’ as the topic of research. For analysis we have utilised the published data available in Scopus database, which is directly related to ‘cyber security’. …
