Design And Analysis Of A Reduced Ultrawideband Band-Notched Band-Pass Filter, Navid Daryasafar, Mojtaba Tangaki, Mohammad Naser Moghaddasi, Ramezanali Sadeghzade

Turkish Journal of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences

In this paper we intend to design a reduced ultrawideband band-pass filter using new models of coupled transmission lines. In this paper, by providing a new model of resonators, the bandwidth of band-pass filters (which are among the most crucial elements in communication systems) will be moderately increased, while their size and volume decreases. According to the change of their equations and consequent changes in basic parameters of these models, optimization and dependency among these parameters and also the frequency response of these filters will be developed to utilize notches in the pass-band, and a reduced ultrawideband band-pass filter with …

Electronically Tunable Mos-Only Current-Mode High-Order Band-Pass Filters, Pipat Prommee, Aphinat Tiamsuphat, Muhammad Taher Abuelmaatti

Turkish Journal of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences

This paper presents new CMOS current-mode ladder Chebyshev and elliptic band-pass filters (BPFs). The signal flow graph and the network transformation methods are used to synthesize the proposed BPFs by using Chebyshev and elliptic RLC low-pass prototypes. CMOS-based lossy and lossless integrators with grounded capacitors are used to synthesize the proposed BPFs. The proposed filters can be electronically tuned between 10 kHz and 100 MHz by adjusting the bias current from 0.02 $\mu $A to 200 $\mu $A. Both filters use a 1.5 V DC power supply, which leads to low dynamic power consumption. Both filters enjoy total harmonic distortion …

On The Design Of Equal Division Single-Band Filtering Dividers With An Extended Transmission Line And Resistor As Isolation Elements, Zafar Bedar Khan, Huiling Zhao

Turkish Journal of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences

This paper introduces a new scheme for effective output port isolation and return loss in RF-filtering divider design. The proposed design incorporates an extended transmission line and a conventional resistor as isolation elements. The technique has a simpler microstrip circuit implementation when it comes to the integration of a single-band band-pass filter with a Wilkinson power divider to achieve simultaneous filtering-dividing action. It is established that if a band-pass filter with a certain fractional-bandwidth is matched to 70.7 $\Omega $, a transmission line section and isolation resistor are sufficient for achieving reasonable output port return loss and isolation in the …
